National Carry Academy strives to be the premier training resource for those that decide to carry a gun as a part of their lifestyle. We started National Carry Academy out of a passion for passing on knowledge about firearms and shooting. Beginning as a small training company focused on local markets with in-person training, we grew National Carry Academy to a training organization that now spans many states providing both in-person and online training. Our goal is to grow the community of responsible gun owners that make carrying a gun a part of their day to day lifestyle. We, like many others, understand this makes for a safer society. We provide instruction for the responsibly armed citizen through a catalog of courses including both online and in-person instruction on topics like concealed carry, shooting, and firearms safety. Our instructor cadre is exceptionally trained offering a wealth of knowledge that they are eager and passionate about passing on to their students. At NCA we believe that a crucial element in being an exceptional Instructional company is a desire to continue to learn. Because of this, we consistently train and place a high value on continued education. We will always seek to better our own performance not just as shooters, but teachers; continually striving to improve and update our curriculum and using the students success as a measure for our own success.

I wish I could do 0 stars. This company is a scam. They have been operating under different names in Minnesota for YEARS. The address is fake, the phone number rings until it auto-disconnects. The Registered Agent is a local business owner...sad that this is going on and he is making money off of it.

I received my certificate! It's not a scam. I did my purchase off of Groupon. It does take awhile for them to respond back to you via email. But, you have to be persistent with emailing them, which is ridiculous!! But, I was able to finish. What!! I didn't like was. I went to the shooting range, and my practice time was suppose to be 30 minutes. I got about 15 minutes, and it was over. Bring your own gun or see if you can borrow a friend's, because the rental fee is ridiculous as well!! That was a ripe off!

Through multiple days of email and phone calls, there was NO RETURN messages or phone calls from your company. Luckily, I was able to get a refund.

Purchased Groupon, merchant won't accept the code. National carry academy won't respond to emails and the phone line is busy. It's a scam, don't give them your money. Now I'm stuck in a feedback loop of Groupon telling me to contact a merchant that doesn't respond. What a joke!

I have spent 3 hours trying to log in the training, and it keep asking to pay more money, and I reset my pass word 4 times until I got in. and the instructor said after the training, you will get a quiz and if you pass you will get your certificate of completion. WELL, after the course ended, it took me back to the binging of the course, No Quiz and No Certificate.... And this course is very week and you will NOT learn anything from it. Do Not West You Money. I sent a message but I did not get any answer...

Won't answer calls, won't reply to emails, tried to do their hybrid online and in person CCW class and they are not replying to me or give me access to my online course. Do not recommend. Due to lack of replies I will have to get my refund through Groupon and not them. I'd give 0 stars if I could

I'm only giving NCA one star. I purchased several thousand rounds of 9mm bulk ammo from NCA (formerly Blok Tactical) in the past. On several occasions when shooting the ammo it has caused my gun to jam. One night at the range, it jammed so tight myself and others were unable to get the slide to move. The range gunsmith finally got it to move, but the bullet was lodged so tightly in the chamber he had to somehow pound it out. The week before it jammed and when we inspected the bullet, you could see a slight bulge in it.
I have not had these issues when using new ammo. I emailed NCA numerous times asking if there is anyway I could get a credit for some of the ammo I've purchased. I stated I would be happy to bring it back to them. I didn't hear anything from them for several months. When someone finally did reply back to me, I got asked all sorts of questions and basically got the run around. They eventually stopped returning my emails. Thieves, nothing more, nothing less.
I can's say anything about their carry classes, but they did have a bunch of items on gun broker and as soon as payment was received by them they cancelled their gun broker account and no items were shipped and the money was never refunded.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
